At this time of Thanksgiving, we at Language & Friendship are truly thankful for:
– language teachers who inspire their students to learn other languages and value other cultures
– students who are motivated to travel abroad and/or host a foreign student to better understand our world and create international friendships
– host families who open their hearts and their homes to give a student the opportunity to experience life in another country and broaden their horizons
– our family-stay coordinators abroad who believe in the value of giving students and families the opportunity to create international friendships
– parents who encourage and support their children in developing skills to communicate with and appreciate others in a positive and effective manner
