Why Host?
In all parts of the world, knowledge of languages and cultures is increasingly essential to successful careers and to international understanding. By hosting, your family brings home a little bit of another culture while creating new friendships. These experiences help eliminate barriers to understanding and have become crucial to the education of our children.
Nationalities
L&F places students from France, French-speaking Switzerland, and Spain.
Length of Stay
Most L&F students come in June or July for three to four weeks. Some come for two weeks in the spring. If you have always wanted to host, but have been reluctant to commit to five or ten months for school-year programs, these shorter experiences offer a great opportunity.
Discounts
Students who host in the summer (3-4 weeks) receive a $100 reduction on L&F programs abroad! Students who host in the spring (1-2 weeks) receive a $50 reduction!
